From The Trivia Vault: Snow Leopards

1. Snow Leopards are moderately large cats found mainly in the mountains of Central Asia, in the alpine regions at an altitude of 3350-6700 meters above sea level.

2. They have long thick fur ( because they lsnow_leopard_fullive in extreme climates) and their eyes are pale green or gray in color – which is unusual for big cats.

3. Their tails are longer when compared to other cats because they need to maintain balance on ground which is rocky and dangerous.

4. Additionally, snow leopards have thick fluffy tails, which they use not only to protect their faces from the cold when they are asleep but also to store fat!

5. Because snow leopards live in mountainous inaccessible regions, they are not very easy to spot.
